IN THIS LESSON

Philippians 4:5

Take a deep breath and ask God what he would say to you. What does he want you to hear? Take note of any word, phrase, feeling or image that pops out or “shimmers” for you as you listen to the meditation.

Some fruits form slowly.
Almost unnoticed—
until they become a tapestry of being.

[Pause]

Gentleness is a calm courage
that honors vulnerability.
It doesn’t push.
It doesn’t overpower.
It simply knows when enough is enough.

[Pause]

 Gentleness is not weakness—
it’s strength that chooses invitation over control.

[Pause]

Self-control is a grounded freedom
that chooses what is life-giving.
It acts from center, not from impulse.
It pauses before reacting.
It honors timing, not just truth.

[Pause]

These fruits are not loud.
But they are strong.
They help us carry power with care—
for ourselves, and for others.

[Pause]

Where are you being invited to respond more softly?
Or to pause before stepping forward?

[Pause]

Let them become your quiet strength.
Gentleness.
Self-control.
