CARVE

We use God-given creativity to make space where no space exists.

This is disruption as holy innovation. When the way is blocked, we carve openings, in our schedules, in our assumptions, in our imagination, in our patterns of prayer and practice.

Mark 2:4-5

4 They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head.

Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus.

5 Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “My child, your sins are forgiven.”

Unlike the woman with issues,

The friends can't press through the crowd

To touch the ONE.

The crowd blocks the door.

The way forward disappears.

Commitment pushes them further to

Creative disruption.

They pivot.

They climb.

They move above the crowd.

They tear.

They move barriers piece by piece.

Create a pathway where none exists.

They carve...

The friends lower corners before the ONE

Who meets the man.

Roof dust falling on his head.

He sees the friends.

He sees the faith.

Pronounces him forgiven.

The miracle found.
